Currently, our specialized team is working on Project Gearshift.
The project aimed at building a physics engine, based on our next games will be created.
By creating this engine, we will be able to better reproduce a real automotive environment. The Gearshift physics engine is a solution based on and suited for one of the most popular and renowned engines – Unreal.
The most important element in this project is the use of artificial intelligence. All the parameters that are extracted by our specialists from the real environment are then transferred to the game..

GearShift – development of an engine for the behaviour of wheeled motor vehicles and generation of game boards based on artificial intelligence algorithms based on the Unreal Engine platform

The project aims to develop a globally innovative product – a vehicle behaviour engine with an integrated module for generating maps in a dynamic game environment, in particular games and simulators of automotive sports. The main innovation of the engine will be based on an implemented model for mapping the physics of wheeled motor vehicles in different environmental conditions, taking into account.
1) Suspension physics,
2) Physics of tire behaviour (implementation of Pacejek’s physics formulas),
3) Physical model of engines taking into account power, torque, friction, characteristics depending on the type of engine – inline engine, V engine, electric motors
4) Braking system considering brake operating temperature,
5) Differential system with a possibility of changing its parameters,
6) Driving assistance systems such as ABS, ESP, TRC.

EU co-financing of the project: PLN 4,920,024.50
